The back closure is a hook-and-eye type; when putting on or taking off, fasten and unfasten using the pads of your fingers rather than your nails. The lace tends to catch on the strap attachment points and the higher side sections, so avoid rubbing the garment firmly against other fabric while wearing it. The padding is removable, so it can be taken out and washed separately by hand. If it shifts out of place, reposition it toward the center along the inner cup pocket. The strap length adjusters are located at the back. The high-side construction means a larger area of fabric at the side of the cup.

The straps are adjustable in length, and the underwire is L-shaped, so it’s common to feel the underwire line along the side and lower bust right after putting the bra on; this sensation may change as the bra settles with wear. If you’re deciding between adjacent cup sizes, choose the size where there’s no pressure at the base of the underwire and some room remains at the top of the cup — this helps avoid excess tightness. Since the padding is removable, the level of fullness can be adjusted by the number of inserts used.
